PARENTS OF NEW GRADS

Are you a concerned parent who wants to help your career oriented young adult child?
Are they unemployed, underemployed or lack direction and focus?
If so, I can help.

As the mother of grown children, I know how hard it can be to push your kids out of the nest. I'm aware of how difficult life can be when your child struggles to secure appropriate employment and achieve independence. If they are open to learning, I'm here to help.

My two grown daughters, as well as many others I've coached, are successful, focused, satisfied with their careers and financially independent. Yours can be too!

I offer a unique one-on-one private, individually tailored confidential phone consultation service that's highly effective and results oriented.

My experience and insights are rarely matched.

Do you have grown child(ren) you want off your payroll?
(I've already lived through this experience (survived it) and have the solutions)

Are you still supporting young adult child(ren) who no longer live with you?
(If this continues longer than is necessary and helpful, negative consequences are the reality and they're not good … for either of you)

Are you sick and tired of "loaning" money?
(We all need a helping hand at some point but when it's excessive or on going, it's not good. This only reinforces negative behavior and if not stopped in time can set one up for future failure. I know because many years ago I was "The Bank" … guilty as charged … but then I got smart)

Do you have a son/daughter you want to help become financially independent?
(When they're long term dependent on us, maybe we're not really "helping".
I've talked to hundreds of parents and I once lived it myself)

Does your son/daughter change jobs often?
(You are not alone. This is more common than you might think. Why struggle when the solution is a simple step by step process, and when followed, the results are quite amazing)

Are you concerned your child might not reach their fullest potential or achieve success?
(Most people do not achieve their fullest potential because of a thinking pattern that prevents it from happening)

Is your son/daughter out of work more then he/she works?
(We can blame others until the cows come home but the truth is most likely no one else caused this to happen; Your child can learn how they actually screen themselves out and also hold themselves back with out even realizing it. Many employees and job seekers alike make these common but correctable mistakes.

I know because I was once an employee who unknowingly held myself back.

I have personal experiences and I also have experience that includes hundreds of hours over 20+years meeting and talking with hundreds of hiring/firing decision-makers. They all shared their most honest, candid feedback)

Does your son/daughter lack career focus?
(This is very common. They can easily learn how to be focused by following my techniques and suggestions)

Does your son/daughter often complain about working?
(When we are not feeling fulfilled it creates gaps and voids. Too many things are missing simply because they're not suited to their jobs. An Employee - Job mismatch is a big disappointment, and possibly, even a disaster waiting to happen, but it doesn't have to be that way.

Does your son/daughter complain often about their job?
(There are people who love their jobs. The reality is most people are NOT suited to their jobs. This is sad. I teach how to find the right job so enjoying our work will just naturally happen. Social Scientists have proved over and over that people who are well suited to their jobs are most successful. They are also much healthier. I've witnessed this firsthand … and I now live it)

Do you think your son/daughter might not be in a job suited to them?
(There are career abilities testing centers I personally and highly recommend. Both of my daughters were tested years ago, while still in college. The testing centers charge a fee that's worth every dime. I do not believe the free testing centers are as effective and accurate. We get what we pay for. Looking back, having my daughters tested was a great investment. I got a big return on my investment, or ROI. It actually saved me lots of money in the long run and it can do the same for you)

Is your son/daughter fearful or stress out over of the job seeking process and/or the job interview?
(There's a real valid reason and a real perfect solution)

Does your son/daughter lack career direction?
(There is a simple solution to correct this problem. Since I do not offer band aid approaches or quick fixes, my solutions apply and last for the rest of one's career)

Is there a possibility that your child is not either aware of and/or using their "gifts"?
(Most working people do not use their "gifts". Research consistently supports the fact that those who know how to use their gifts, without a doubt, are highly successful people)

Is your son/daughter unemployed or underemployed?
(I can share the reasons and solutions … assuming it's not due to substance abuse, physical, medical or deep psychological problems or issues)

Is your son/daughter turned down for good jobs because of a negative Background Record that seems to follow them wherever they go?
(I can share this very important information you need to know, assuming we are not dealing here with "hard-core" or categorized as "Repeat Offender". Employers won't tell you because they are usually not aware and anyway it's not their job. Keep in mind, we have all made stupid, costly mistakes at some time or another. While we can't change the past, going forward there are solutions that do work)

If you answered YES to any of these (or similar) questions, please call to briefly discuss how I may help your adult child.

The free of charge brief discussion will help me determine if we should move forward and schedule a fee consultation.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION for YOUNG ADULTS

Before your scheduled consultation session, you'll need to email the following to me; Do not spend more than ONE HOUR putting this together.

*List of 4 - 6 typical job duties/responsibilities you really like and enjoy.

*List of 4 - 6 typical job duties/responsibilities you dislike or wish to avoid.

*List of the courses/classes you enjoyed and/or excelled in.

*List of the courses/classes you disliked and/or struggled with.

*Your resume. If you do not have one ready, a plain, simple, one-page resume including basic information, such as your contact info, employment history, accomplishments and "Objective", meaning the type of job you are seeking. We can upgrade and change your resume later, if necessary. So, there's no need to spend a lot of time working on it.

*Create your own ideal job description. In one short paragraph, describe the perfect job/career of your dreams. It must be realistic.

*List either 2 or 3 of your absolutely most enjoyable, common activities under age 10;

The activities/hobbies should include an indoor and an outside favorite. They should be the most common activities/hobbies you loved as a young child and spent considerable time doing when able. List only the play activities and/or hobbies that you enjoyed for years, not short term. They can be activities you either did alone, with others or both.

My recommendations usually involve a process that needs to be implemented and followed in order to be effective. My effective techniques and suggestions are easy to learn and apply. Once you learn them you will be amazed and you'll have them for the rest of your career. I do not offer quick fixes because in the long run they are ineffective and are not results or solution oriented.

I also provide suggestions regarding issues concerning arrest or conviction records on BACKGROUND REPORTS & RECORDS. Employers will hire job seekers with negative backgrounds under certain circumstances if you follow and utilize my suggestions and techniques.

If you believe your child's negative background history is preventing them from securing employment, I may be able to provide suggestions. I'll first need to know the (brief) specifics. I can then determine if and how I can help. I make these determinations on a case by case basis. If so, we can schedule an initial fee consultation.

If we decide to move forward and schedule an initial phone consultation, my first consultation fee (with parent) is $165 for a full half-hour. If you prefer, the initial consultation can be with your child. Either way, the first scheduled consultation is a half-hour and the (soon to be increasing) fee is $165.

I provide the parent(s) of young adult children (over age 21) with the opportunity to discuss how I may assist their child so they learn how to land their ideal job … for the rest of their careers.

The initial half-hour session with the parent is primarily to determine specific issues, areas of improvement and the overall goals. If you decide your child should have the initial consultation with me, that's fine too. Either way, all initial consultations are $165.

You may first want to review "Topics Covered" and some Q's & A's.

Your child will need to call to schedule follow-up session(s). I will consult privately with your child during the follow-up session(s). They are individually tailored to your child's specific needs. The half-hour follow-up sessions are billed @ $70. Only the initial consultation is billed @ $165.

One half-hour follow-up session is sometimes sufficient but there are occasions where more than one session is necessary. Depending on individual circumstances, more than one follow-up session ( @ $70 each) may be required to achieve the desired goals.
