THE DO'S AND DONT'S I DON'T TEACH
Learn the REAL secrets and dynamics behind connecting with anyone at any time.
I do NOT teach common advice most Job & Career Resources provide.
I do NOT teach adults what they've already learned and already know.
I will NOT waste your valuable time.

IDEAL JOB OFFER is a refreshing change to the currently available boring, outdated, ineffective methods and information.
If you check out some of the most popular job interview web sites, resources and guides, you might see the following information listed.
My highly informative, effective, results oreinted program does NOT;
Insult anyone's intelligence or put anyone down by teaching the following:
COMMON JOB INTERVIEW "DO's"
*Always give a firm handshake
(Always? ... Not True)
*Smile
(This advice is so common but so misleading. Smiling does make us appear more attractive and confident …BUT… 1 - some facial expressions, gestures and body language totally negates the perception of confidence even if you're smiling. 2 – you'll also need to know how to identify those specific interview moments when a smile is necessary and appropriate and 3 – there are some interview situations where smiling will cost you a job offer … without fail)
*Sit up straight
(Isn't this what adults teach children)
*Maintain good posture
(As opposed to what? … slouching, lounging … who doesn't already know this?)
*Lean forward to show interest
(
There are those few exceptions when this can cause a disconnection and also occasions when it's inappropriate to lean forward, and anyway, why even mention this when it's the rare candidate who might lean back in the chair totally disinterested)
*Maintain good eye contact
(Does this mean as opposed to reading posters on the office wall or staring down at your reflection in your polished shoes. Most candidates already know this)
*Mimic the interviewer
(We can agree playing the game of "Simon Says" in a real life job interview would not be a comfort zone for most adults … but not too worry, mimicking doesn't work anyway) |
*One of several reasons I decided to share my knowledge and to offer phone consultation services is because most of the current available information is common and therefore not useful or helpful*
THE TYPICAL "DO NOTS" I DO NOT TEACH
*Chew gum in the interview
(I know you're all just dying to snap, crackle n' pop during a job interview)
*Stare at the interviewer
(
Less than 2% of all job interviewees actually stare at the interviewer, meaning this information is not necessary or helpful to about 98% of job seekers)
*Rub your nose
(
The small percentage of job candidates this applies to are not very likely to benefit from reading or hearing this common piece of advice. While it's true nose rubbing or scratching could cost one a job offer, quite often the people who do this in an interview are not aware of it. It's an unconscious habit so they will continue to do this in an interview unless certain information is known)
*Pick your nose or lips
(
Less than 1/10 th of a percent of grown adult audiences will benefit from this tidbit. Based on my 20+ years of experience interviewing over a thousand candidates, I've seen so few candidates do this it's not worth mentioning yet it's still often included in many job interview resource guides.)

Candidate rejection is seldom related to any of the above
Unbelievably this is what many job & career resources and job interviewing skills instruction classes teach.
Do you really need to learn this information? I don't think so.
I teach what you don't know, but need to know.
REJECTION is seldom related to the above because the majority of adults already know to avoid this in the interview.
Many candidates sabotage their success and/or screen themselves out without even realizing it .
The TOP 10 REASONS FOR CANDIDATE REJECTION
*Utilizing information from those who teach what they really don't know
*Non-verbal disconnection
*Commonly overlooked specific body language mistakes
*Incorrect voice tone, infliction and/or not using specific verbs that create a connection
*Lacking self-confidence, trust and/or faith
*Big egos, negative attitudes, thoughts and feelings
*Inability to relate to the employers needs and perspective or properly address issues
*A lack of networking and/or professional organization involvement
*Simple Lobby/Reception area mistakes
*A resume lacking proper "buzz words" and failing to ensure the right person (Not HR) receives it

These are the REAL reasons. Quite often, all it takes is one to cost us a job offer

Some "experts" teaching job and career advice provide stale, commonly known information. The same holds true for some popular on-line Job & Career resource sites.
I've wondered if maybe they have a distorted view of how the majority of job candidates handle themselves in an interview. Most likely, they have little, if any, professional experience interviewing job candidates. Otherwise they would know this information is not necessary or helpful to the vast majority of job seekers.
Teaching adults this outdated "Do's & Don'ts" interviewing information geared for teens does not give the majority of adult candidates the credit they deserve OR the real information they need.
In my experience, candidates interviewing for professional jobs, both salaried and non-salaried, are typically appropriate, smart, savvy and prepared … some more than others. All candidates are at least minimally qualified or we wouldn't invite them in for an interview.
Now, if I provided instruction on "How to Get a Part Time After School Job" to an audience of teens, I would probably include this (already known to most adults) advice. Most adults already know this interviewing information so they do not need to hear it over and over again and again.
Since the specific and easy to learn body language secrets I share are not common knowledge and known by very few, everyone will benefit instead of only a very small percentage.
Ideal Job Offer's entire program is geared towards professional adults, degreed and non-degreed, salaried and non-salaried. The overwhelming majority of working adults are honest, sincere, hardworking, responsible, professional people who simply need to know the real ins and outs of the hiring game and gain the competitive edge so they can stand out amongst the crowd and succeed.
I will not bore or insult you with useless information
My body language secrets and information is not about mimicking. It's not about everyday common sense stuff you've already heard over and over. I would also like to mention there are others who are aware of this information, at least to some extent.
Judges, Police Detectives and Investigators, Social Anthropologists and Hypnotists, to name a few, are probably aware of some of these non-verbal body language secrets and may be knowledgeable of some of the techniques I teach. But since their roles do not require teaching for the purpose of helping job seekers gain the competitive edge, they can't help you the way I can because they are not part of the Human Resources Staffing community. They are educated professionals and experts in their chosen fields but they lack professional job interview training experience. So, you would have to sort out what is real and what is not while talking to many different people within various areas of expertise as well as reading many books on the subject to learn what I teach.
MY UNIQUE and COMBINED EXPERIENCES ARE RARELY MATCHED
I've combined all of the top secrets including the many I discovered and learned on my own. I can teach you how to incorporate these little known but easy to implement and utilize body language connection secrets into the job interview … and your everyday life.
You can utilize my secrets, tips and techniques in the phone screen interview, job interview and while interacting with others in the workplace … and in your personal life.
My long term staffing experience and position as a professional interviewer and my intense desire to uncover the truth and discover these secrets and dynamics both played a huge role in learning these techniques so you can benefit.
NOW YOU CAN LEARN WHY …
*Some people are hired and some are not
*Some are promoted and some are passed over for career advancement opportunities
*Some people are popular and/or dynamic while others are tolerated or worse, disliked.
*Some people are successful while others struggle

DID YOU KNOW?
When communicating during the interview, non-verbal body language accounts for about 80% while verbal communication only accounts for 20%.
Most candidates (unknowingly) "disconnect" and therefore a "disconnection" is actually more common than a "connection". Almost 2/3rds of all interviewees fail the interview for this reason alone. Jobs remain open for months while candidates search for months but…
there are easy to learn and apply solutions
Many job seekers take a powerless approach and attitude. They accept rejection as if it's unavoidable and an unfortunate part of their job seeking campaign. They believe there is no choice but to endure rejection as though it's a big part of the game. This is a big mistake. I believe job seekers should and can receive MORE job offers than rejections, not the other way around.
I was determined to discover the reasons and wouldn't stop searching until I found them. I was so determined I once made this statement,
"My wish to uncover the secret is so strong that I'd go to the ends of the Earth to find them".
Well, be real careful what you wish for … my wish came true.
I wound up in a place most refer to as "The Ends of the Earth".
