THE CHEMISTRY CONNECTION & TRIBAL PEOPLES OF THE AMAZON
When my daughter, Michelle, was a student at the University of California she was offered the opportunity to complete an overseas internship. She was studying to become a Biological Anthropologist.
Almost a year into her student internship she begged me to come visit her on a research assignment in the remote areas of the Amazon Jungles of South America. As you can imagine, I was reluctant. I did not want to go but I finally gave in. I made all of the necessary arrangements, prepared and packed for weeks, endured the required vaccinations and went. After 3 days of intense travel to get to the Jungle, I was hot, hungry, tired and completely out of my element. In the end, it was well worth it.
I was in one of the most remote regions of the Amazon visited by few, occupied mostly by Tribes, various species of monkeys and a few creatures I never knew existed. Little did I know this trip and adventure would later turn out to be a huge blessing in disguise ... and my desire and "wish" to uncover the secret behind chemistry and it's connection to body language would finally come true. Taking a journey to the remote Amazon Rainforests came to me as quite a surprise. It was unplanned but in the end it was not unwelcome.
Upon arriving, I felt scared but I was also fascinated. There were so many incredible and beautiful things to observe including the Tribal peoples. Indigenous people live completely off the land with no communication links to the outside world. Their homes are dirt shacks made of dried Palm Tree leaves, tree trunks and bark. Hot water and electricity are non-existent. There are no Doctors or pharmaceutical medications, only healing herbs, tea leaves, barks and an incredible assortment of survival concoctions.
Due to cultural and communication barriers (and lack of Shopping Malls) feeling scared quickly turned into bored. Then, one day I noticed a few Tribal group members arguing.
I began observing their behavior and communication styles and patterns. I was fascinated with the group dynamics of these regional Tribal peoples. My daughter would take time off from her research and Biology lab assignments and join me in my observations. I was grateful as this was a rare opportunity and they did not seem to mind as long as we kept our distance and did not interfere.
Although my daughter, as well as the other team members and Professors, speak fluent Spanish, we had no idea what any of the Tribal Peoples, including the Tribe Leaders and the Huarmi family groups were discussing. Their dialects are unique to their tribe. The non-verbal communication of these family groups said "closed-off" as the unspoken message was, "non members not included", so I did not dare approach them. While I'm considered by some to be quite brave and adventurous, I will admit it's only up to a point. So, we kept our distance and observed.
Sometimes the Tribal group members were laughing or sitting contently and other times they were arguing. Their young are well cared for. I noticed very interesting body language postures and signals when non-tribe members approached a closed tribe or when a non-tribe member attempted communication with members of different tribes.
I started to notice very specific non-verbal signals that either created a positive connection or a disconnection.
It was then that everything finally started to click and I began to understand why and how we create a connection or disconnection when interacting with others. There I was simply observing and the missing piece of the puzzle was surprisingly right in front of me. Everything started to fall into place. I was so excited upon learning this because …
we can't address, correct and improve what we don't know.

"Lack of chemistry" OR "There was no chemistry"
applies everywhere because it's universal.

We identified specific "NEGATIVE" Body Language that created confrontation and a DISCONNECTION between various group members while observing Tribal Peoples interacting in their group situations
LACK of CHEMISTRY was the end result of this negative body language. It created distancing, isolation, ostracizing and confrontation. The chemistry wasn't there. On one occasion, it escalated to physically aggressive behavior. I'll spare you the details and leave it at that.
In comparison, disconnecting with an interviewer means "the chemistry is NOT there" resulting in rejection or no job offer.

We also identified certain types of "POSITIVE" Body Language that actually created a CONNECTION within the tribe members when observing the Tribal Peoples group interaction and dynamics. The same was observed in Monkey and Chimp families in both groups and one-on-one. The non-verbal interactions between Tribal members included "positive" body language, meaning the chemistry was there.
CHEMISTRY created a positive connection that resulted in food sharing, cooperation, and overall acceptance within the group members.
In comparison, a connection with an interviewer means the chemistry
IS there and usually results in acceptance, a job offer.

I uncovered the secret and reveal the dynamics behind "CHEMISTRY"

Our lack of ability to fully understand their tribal dialect actually turned out to be a blessing. Their conversations and dialogues were not a source of distraction. So, all of our focus was totally concentrated on their NON-verbal body language. I would liken this to turning off the sound on the TV and just watching the actors, only this was way more interesting.
Over the course of many years, a combination of;
*Interviewing 1,000's of job candidates
*Reading, researching and attending seminars
*Observing and studying people and their behavior
*Analyzing "there was no chemistry" candidate feedback from hiring managers
*A trip to the Jungles and "The Amazon Experience"
*Personal experience and acing interviews by utilizing my own techniques

was necessary before everything I wanted to know about chemistry and body language finally started to come together. Every minute of all the combined countless hours I put into my research was well worth it and now you can benefit from my experiences, research and knowledge.
The puzzle was solved, my questions were answered and I finally had the solutions I sought.
Learn and apply the secret behind "chemistry"
(By the way, be real careful what you wish for, it might come true :-)
